Empower Underserved Children in Uganda with AI and STEM skills

What is the purpose of Yiiya Bots?

Yiiya Bots aims to empower underserved children in Uganda by providing them with hands-on STEM education through innovative robotics. We utilize local materials to create engaging learning experiences that foster creativity and problem-solving skills.

How do the robots work and what materials are used?

Our robots are built using indigenous wire technology and creatively repurposed materials like bottle caps for wheels. This approach not only teaches children about robotics but also emphasizes sustainability and resourcefulness in technology. The AI arduino chips enable students to access AI skills in a relevant context.

What age group is targeted by Yiiya Bots programs?

Our programs are designed for children aged 8 to 18 years, ensuring that the content is age-appropriate and engaging. We focus on making STEM education accessible and enjoyable for all children, regardless of their background.

How can children get involved with Yiiya Bots?

Children can participate in our workshops and community events where they will learn to build robots and explore coding. We also offer an AI-powered mobile app that guides them through the robot-building process, making learning fun and interactive.

What skills do children learn through Yiiya Bots?

Through our programs, children learn essential skills such as AI, coding, robotics, and critical thinking. They also gain hands-on experience with technology, fostering a love for STEM that can inspire future educational and career pursuits.
